1963 Ford Falcon

Up for auction is a VERY rare 1963 Ford Falcon Squire Wagon.  It has been in California all of its life, including being built in San Jose.  It is a factory "F" code, meaning it left the factory with a 260 V-8 engine.  Now in its place, is a 302 with a C4 automatic transmission. It has aftermarket guages below the days. The previous owner moved the shifter to the floor, but left the original column shifter in place.  I was planning on moving it back to the column.  The car has ZERO rust and is super clean underneath.  The previous owner had it taken to bare metal 20 years ago, and had any metal work done before it was painted.  The inside has been repainted white at the same time as the outside of the car 20 years ago.  There are reminants of some overspray on the seats indicating so.  It runs very well.  It had been sitting in a garage for 20 years until I got it.  I had the gas tank removed and flushed; the carb rebuilt, a new battery, and whatever else was needed to make it run well.  It has factory power steering and power rear window, but the motor for the window is weak.  It has an Edelbrock 4V intake and carb(the air cleaner in the picture in not included but one will be provided), along with headers and dual exhaust.  It has a couple very small dents and scrapes from things being placed on it over the years in the garage.  I do NOT have the faux wood trim.  The previous owner sold the trim.  He said he wanted the "clean" look of the wagon.  It does need interior work.  It needs a new headliner, carpet, and I personally would replace the door panels, and upholstery.  All of the stainless and chrome are in excellent condition.  Included is a set of front and rear anti-sway bars, the original valve covers, the door locks, which are in a bag in a photo, with the original owner's manual.
