Incredibly rare 1963 ½ Ford Futura – Time Capsule
From Wikipedia:
“Halfway through the model year (February 1963), the Fairlane's 164 hp "Challenger" 260 V8 engine was offered for the first time.”
“The only time a V8 option was available in a first-generation Falcon was the 1963 ½ model, and these cars were produced in very limited numbers - Sprint two-door hardtop, bucket seats 10,479 produced.”
Of these, a great many were automatic. This factory V8 manual car is a very rare Futura.

I have been told that the car has a dealer option cobra performance kit which Shelby offered as an option for the Falcon consisting of a 4 barrel carb, headers and alloy rocker covers, and air cleaner and larger option front drum brakes. However I do not have the expertise to confirm this.
