Harrah's Del Rio opened in Laughlin, Nevada in 1988. Del Rio name was dropped in 1991. William Harrah had opened a bingo parlor on Center Street in Reno, Nevada, October 1937. After eight years at different locations in Reno He bought the Mint Club in 1945. In 1946 he then opened it as Harrah's Club.
Since then Holiday Inn now owns all Harrah's and has opened many casinos all over United States.
