Honda XR600R 85 to 90 Maximum Spline contact 15 tooth Front Sprocket

This ad is for the FRITZCO Maximum Spline Contact 15 tooth sprocket for the 88 to 90 Honda XR600R.
This Maximum Spline Contact sprocket is also available in 13 and 14 tooth configurations. Please see my other items.
The Achilles heal of the Honda XR line is the thin counter shaft sprockets used by the factory and those supplied by the aftermarket sources. The thin sprocket makes a small " footprint" on the counter shaft spline and wear of the shaft is rapid. Riding on the heals of the successful FRITZCO XR650L Maximum Spline Contact sprocket line is this sprocket for the XR600R. By making a sprocket with a wider hub, the spline has a much larger footprint on the shaft. Loading is less and shaft wear is greatly improved. This wide hub sprocket also bridges the wear pattern imparted by the narrow sprockets and can extend the life of a worn counter shaft ( Note: Honda has discontinued this shaft ).
Fitment is assured for the 88 to 90 year models but this sprocket fits many other XR's in the Honda line. These sprockets have a 25mm x 22mm x 6mm grove dimension and a hub width that covers the entire spline of the counter shaft. Like the XR650L sprockets this sprocket is machined in the USA from alloy steel, then fully heat treated. These are in every way comparable to any other sprockets on the market and will provide a long wear life.
These sprockets can be used with the OEM retainer or a quick change spring clip sold separately. Please see my other items. The XR650L retainer fits the XR600R shaft.
