With the chain escape tester Profi CAT-Line (Chain Alignment Tool), the chain alignment and thus the rear axle are precisely adjusted. The L-CAT line laser - for daily use in the workshop - has a light weight and the mechanic now has both hands free for fine adjustment of the rear axle, for steel sprockets!
The correct axle position is set when the same distance to the edge area of the chain is illuminated. With the help of the internal magnet, a permanent "light line" becomes visible on the chain tabs and the position of the axis can now be optimally adjusted. After locking the axle bolts, it is immediately apparent whether the axle position has changed.
This new device is anodized black. Possible abrasion parts that adhere to the magnetic effect are easily recognizable on the black surface and must of course be removed. This "line magnet" version is a perfect helper for steel sprockets.
